This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, distilled in 2013 and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured throughout in a single Oloroso sherry hogshead, which gives a balance of distillery character and cask influence. The sherry sits alongside the malty, full-bodied style Dailuaine is known for.
The nose offers almonds, ripe strawberries and caramel. On the palate come malt sweets, cocoa, stewed apple and gooseberry.
