Dailuaine 12 Year Old 2008 is a Speyside single malt in the Old Particular range, selected and bottled by Douglas Laing. It comes from a sherry butt, and only 350 bottles were filled.
The nose is burnt wood, peanuts, almonds, spring flowers and shortbread. The palate is fruity and drying, with glazed ginger and raisins. The finish brings more wood, toasted barley, blackcurrants and pepper-covered strawberries.
