A 13 year old Dailuaine single malt, finished in a first fill ruby port cask and bottled at 50% for the Long Valley Selection. It has a red colour from the port finish.
The nose is fruity, with raisins, apple pie, dried apricots, panettone, candyfloss and caramelised almonds. The palate is intense, fresh and lightly sweet, with dark chocolate, nutmeg, roasted almonds and ripe pineapple. The finish is medium in length and fairly dry, sweet and spicy, with pink pepper, cloves, a little honey and plums.
