This is a single cask Dailuaine from Speyside, bottled by Fable Whisky as Chapter Three of its series and named Moon Cask. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 at 12 years old, at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky comes from a single refill bourbon hogshead. Dailuaine is a key component of Johnnie Walker and is rarely bottled as a single malt. Fable's releases focus on single cask stories from Scotland's less-heralded distilleries. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
