This is a 16 year old single cask Dailuaine from Speyside, bottled by Little Brown Dog at 55.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 22 January 2009 and bottled on 24 February 2025, filling 253 bottles.
The whisky matured in a refill bourbon hogshead and was not expected to be smoky. Checking the cask records showed that the hogshead had previously held peated Islay whisky, which explains the smoke in the glass.
