Dallas Dhu – 1975 31 Year Old SMWS 45.18 'A Rich, Elegant Old Lady' (70cl, 47.4%)

A single cask Dallas Dhu from Speyside, distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2006 at 31 years old by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was the Society's 18th bottling from the distillery and is bottled at 47.4% in a 70cl bottle. Dallas Dhu stands near Forres and was built in 1898. It is now a preserved distillery museum run by Historic Scotland. Bottlings from the mid 2000s are described as fruit-forward, old-school whiskies with an oily character.
