This is a 20 year old Dallas Dhu from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 40% abv and labelled 1979. It has a pale gold colour.
The nose is stony and flinty, grassy and waxy, with butter, lemon juice, breadcrumb and a touch of ham. The palate opens with big lemony notes, then orange juice, vitamin C tablets, porridge, nutmeg, salt and grass juice.
The finish is long, salty and lemony.
