Dalmore 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% abv. It spends its first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, after which the whisky is divided into two parts.
One half carries on maturing in bourbon barrels, while the other half moves into Matusalem oloroso sherry casks that are themselves 30 years old. The result is described as complex yet balanced.
