Dalmore 12 Year Old is an official bottling of Highland single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in aged Oloroso sherry casks.
On the nose there is orange zest, dried apricots and red berries, with cardamom, nutmeg and polished oak. The palate brings Seville oranges, dark chocolate, dried figs and vanilla in a rich, almost syrupy texture. The finish is medium to long, with roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cinnamon and ripe plums.
