Dalmore 12 Year Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt aged for 12 years and bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It matures first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finishes in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The finishing casks, in European and American oak, were seasoned with sherry blended specially for Dalmore by three Andalucian cooperages: Tevasa, Vasyma and Paez.
The nose offers caramelised orange, honey, ginger and sultanas. Dark chocolate, almonds and cooked prunes lead the palate, and the finish is medium-long, with mango and lemon sponge.
