Dalmore 12 Years Old is a single malt from the Dalmore distillery on the Cromarty Firth in the north of Scotland. It is matured in bourbon casks and then in sherry casks.
The nose offers ripe fruit such as candied orange and apple, with vanilla, honey and toasted almonds, and sweet spice and chocolate emerge with time in the glass. The palate is soft and warm with a creamy texture, moving through candied citrus, caramel and spice to a long, balanced finish of woody, lightly spiced notes.
