Dalmore – King Alexander III (70cl, 40%)

Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt matured in six types of cask: wine, Madeira, sherry, Marsala, bourbon and port. The master blender brings the influence of each cask together, and each contributes to the full, fruity character. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, in a box, and has a dark copper colour. The nose is rich and fruity, with red berries, hints of passion fruit, vanilla, malt, chocolate and bitter orange. On the palate come citrus zest, vanilla, crème caramel and almonds, with soft spice and berries. The finish recalls cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
