Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt from the Dalmore distillery, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
Its character comes from maturation in six different cask types: small batch bourbon, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, Madeira, Marsala, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.
The nose is red fruits, citrus peel and layers of spice. The palate brings chocolate, coffee and zesty orange, leading to a warming spice. The finish is long, with sweet raisins and soft toffee.
