Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt from Dalmore, bottled at 46.5% in a 75cl bottle. It grew out of the distillery's experiments with casks from around the world.
The whisky is matured first in American white oak bourbon casks, then finished in port pipes from W&J Graham. The aim is to pair Dalmore's weighty spirit with thick port-cask fruit and spice.
It is described as creamy and fruity, with controlled sweetness.
