This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Dalwhinnie, the highest distillery in Scotland. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is big, crisp, dry and very aromatic, with hints of heather and peat. The body is light to medium and smooth.
On the palate, soft, lasting heather-honey sweetness and vanilla lead to deeper citrus fruit and hints of malted bread. The finish is long and surprisingly intense, starting sweet before turning to smoke, peat and malt.
