Dalwhinnie – 15 Years (70cl)

Dalwhinnie 15 Years is a Highland single malt matured for 15 years in oak casks, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits more than 300 metres up in the Cairngorms, among the highest in Scotland, where the cold, dry climate is said to favour slow, steady maturation. The nose opens with heather honey, vanilla, citrus and toasted cereal. The palate is velvety, with honey, malt, almond, dried fruit and a light touch of peat. The finish is long, with honeyed and woody notes.
