Winter's Gold is a Dalwhinnie single malt from the Highlands, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The series was introduced in 2015, and the spirit is distilled between October and March. It is suggested that it be served chilled, straight from the freezer.
The nose is described as baked apples, ripe pears and dried apricots with citrus peel, cinnamon and heather. Honey, malt, vanilla and orange zest come through on a creamy palate, and the finish is long and warming, with a hint of pepper and soft smoke.
