A 13-year-old Highland single malt from Ardmore, bottled by Darach. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 at a natural cask strength of 59.7%, in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
Ardmore is a peated malt, and this release was finished for 60 days in an ex red wine cask. The outturn is 182 bottles.
The nose is dried fruit, orange peel and a hint of toffee. On the palate, gentle spice and orange peel come first, followed closely by more dried fruit. The finish is sweet toffee.
