Dark Art's Mizunara Oak Cask Finished Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Dark Art's Mizunara Oak Cask Finished Bourbon is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Dark Art's Whiskey House of Lexington, bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled in Danville and bottled in Sparta, from a mash bill of 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley. The bourbon is finished in toasted Japanese Mizunara oak, a slow-growing wood that is difficult to cooper and is prized for its incense-like spice. Caramel, baking spice and vanilla from the high-rye base meet sandalwood, incense and oriental spice, ending in a warm, spicy finish.
