Dark Arts Whiskey House 'Amburana Oak Stave Finished' is a small batch rye blended from three sequentially numbered barrels, aged between six and eight years. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana, then finished, blended and bottled in Lexington, Kentucky. The finish uses Amburana oak staves, and the whiskey is bottled at 108 proof, or 54% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Amburana oak is known for cinnamon, vanilla and baking spices, set against a peppery rye backbone.
