A Kentucky straight bourbon from Dark Arts Whiskey House, finished with staves of Japanese Mizunara oak. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle, and is non-chill filtered.
It is a small-batch, limited release, and each bottle is individually numbered. The heavy, decanter-style glass bottle reflects the brand's alchemy-inspired look.
The nose brings subtle incense, sandalwood, toasted coconut, cinnamon bark and vanilla cream. On the palate there is honeyed oak, baking spices, dark chocolate and soft pear and fig, with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long and warm, with Mizunara spice, herbal tea and a floral woodiness.
