Dark Silkie Cask Strength Batch No.1 (64.5%)

Dark Silkie Cask Strength Batch No.1 is a limited Irish release of just 210 bottles, bottled at 64.5% ABV. Like the 46% bottling, it is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. It is described as soft and velvety, with rich sweet smoke and dark fruit. The nose brings salted caramel, heather, baked apple and spicy smoke. The palate is soft and supple, with tropical sweetness first, then dark fruit, stewed plum and pipe tobacco, and the smoke stays dry and spicy. The finish is long and spicy, with lingering sweet pipe smoke.
