Darkness Campbeltown 6 Year Old is a single malt from the Campbeltown region, bottled independently by Darkness in a 50cl bottle. It has had a secondary maturation in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings bright citrus peel, sticky dates and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate there are layers of dried fruit, spiced orange, nutty oak and a little cocoa. The finish is warming, with lingering sherry sweetness, toasted almonds and a touch of sea salt.
