Dartigalongue Hors d'Age is a Bas-Armagnac from Nogaro, aged for a minimum of 15 years in Gascon oak. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The spirit is a blend of Ugni Blanc, Baco 22A and Folle Blanche, distilled once in a traditional Armagnacais column still at 58% vol. to keep its aroma. The family has worked this land since 1813.
It is deep amber, with baked apple, butter and black oak on the nose. The palate is vibrant and generous, with baked apple and oak followed by toffee and vanilla, and a little tobacco towards the end. The finish is long, fat and silky.
