Daviess County Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finished is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle at 48% ABV, bottled by Lux Row Distillers of Bardstown. It blends wheated and rye bourbon mash bills.
The bourbon then spends six months in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from California's Napa region. It launched in the brand's February 2020 relaunch, alongside the core bourbon and a French oak finish.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and caramel. The palate is smooth, with hints of fruit and oak, and the finish is long and warm with a touch of spice.
