De Vilmont Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne

A Blanc de Blancs Champagne from De Vilmont, made entirely from Chardonnay. It is a Brut, so the dosage of sugar is low and the style is drier and purer. The colour is bright pale straw with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose offers delicate white flowers, citrus and a hint of minerality. The palate is lively but balanced, with freshness set against a creamy structure, and flavours of green apple, pear and yeast. The finish is long and clean, with a note of freshly baked bread crust. It makes an aperitif and also goes with oysters, fish starters and mild goat's cheese.
