Deadwood is a straight bourbon whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40.5% ABV. It takes its name from the town that grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota after gold was found there in 1874, when saloons thrived and whiskey was part of daily life.
It is a small batch bourbon with a light caramel colour. The nose offers corn, caramel, vanilla, oak, nuts, a little spice and jelly beans.
On the palate there is caramel, dried fruit, honey, brown sugar, spice, vanilla and orange peel. The finish is short, with hints of caramel, fruit, honey, corn and spice.
