Deanston – 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 46.3%)

Deanston 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery in Doune, Perthshire, which began as a cotton mill built in 1785 on the River Teith. The whisky is matured in the mill's vaulted weaving shed and bottled at 46.3% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour. The same river now powers the distillery with renewable energy. It is citrusy, malty, honeyed and waxy, with freshly cut grass, sweet green fruit and soft pastry, and barrel spice that gives an impression of greater age.
