Deanston 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Deanston distillery, aged for 12 years and bottled at a strength of 46.3%.
Maturation began in bourbon casks, and only afterwards did the whisky receive a short finish in Oloroso sherry casks.
The combination produces an agreeably light, gently complex whisky, one that is enjoyable for a wide range of drinkers.
