This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Deanston, bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The whisky first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a finish in tequila casks.
On the nose, sweet vanilla meets lively agave, with subtle citrus and a pleasant spiciness. The palate is soft and full-bodied, balancing the sweetness of the bourbon with the exotic influence of the tequila. The finish is long and slightly peppery.
