Deanston – 28 Year Old 1991

A 28 year old single malt from Deanston, a vintage 1991 that was finished for two years in Muscat casks. Deanston is a Scottish distillery certified organic by the Organic Food Federation. It makes its own power from onsite hydro generation, a legacy of its time as a cotton mill, and works without computers in production. The Muscat finish gives a fruitier, oilier and fuller-bodied whisky than the distillery's usual soft, honeyed style, ending in a zesty citrus finish.
