This is a Deanston Highland single malt finished in American craft ale casks. It is a hand-filled limited edition, filled by hand at the distillery on 19 November 2018 at 50.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
The nose brings ripe apple, quince, orange peel, vanilla spice, fresh hops and warm oak. The palate has vanilla custard, baked apple and citrus zest with a hint of hop bitterness. The medium finish moves from sweet apple to a gentle tartness, with apple peel and toasted malt.
