Delamain XXO is a cognac given a special place in the house's Grand Chai. It rests in a cellar with a window, where the drier environment lets the cognac develop peacefully through changes in climate.
The aromas are stewed pear and peach, with wood, nutmeg, saffron and roasted, toasted notes. The wider bouquet brings gingerbread, raisin bread, leather, Sichuan pepper, dried fig and Muscat seeds.
Nose and palate follow one another closely, ending in a long finish.
