An aged grappa from Dellavalle, a Piedmontese distillery. It is made from the best pomace from the most suited areas of Monferrato, distilled in small pot stills in a bain-marie.
The spirit then spends ten years in casks that previously held Marsala, the fortified wine of Sicily. It comes in a wooden box made from the wood of the casks used for ageing.
The aroma is intense, led by raisin, with strong notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruit. Dark chocolate is the suggested pairing.
