Dellavalle Affinata in Botti da Passito di Pantelleria is a Piedmontese grappa made from the best pomace of the Monferrato, distilled in small pot stills in a bain-marie. It then spends ten years in casks that previously held Passito di Pantelleria, the sweet wine made only on the Sicilian island of Pantelleria. It comes in a wooden box made from the wood of the ageing casks. The aroma is fruity and aromatic, with the character of muscat. The palate shows raisin and date.
