Derthona Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC - Ca de gli Olmi - Luca Canevaro

A white wine from the hills of Tortona in Alto Piemonte, made from Timorasso. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel, then matured in small oak barrels for six to eight months. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose brings ripe peach and pear, white flowers and a light note of fresh almond. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with acidity and minerality in balance and a persistent freshness. The finish is long and pleasantly savoury.
