Dewar's 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky created by the Dewar family, in a 1.75 litre bottle. The Dewar's business was founded by John Dewar in 1846.
The blend is double-aged. After the first maturation and blending, it returns to oak casks for a further six months of marrying.
Tasting notes mention honey, homemade toffee apples and crumbly fudge. It is described as warm, buttery and mellow, light on the palate, with a long, lingering finish.
