Dewar's The Ancestor is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with toffee, grain, oak zest and heather, alongside sweet malt, almond and a floral note. On the palate come grain malt, hot buttered toast, honey and a warming touch of aniseed.
The finish is dry and long, with a little smoke and thick, sweet malt.
