Dewar's 12 Years Old The Ancestor is a 12-year-old blended Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with toffee backed by grain, with oak zest and heather, and moves on to rich malt, almond and toasted grain. On the palate there is grain malt, hot buttered toast, a little honey and a warmth of aniseed.
The finish is long and warming, dry at first, with a touch of smoke and thick malt sweetness.
