Dewar's 19 Year Old The Champions Edition is a blended Scotch whisky created by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod in partnership with the USGA. It commemorates the 121st U.S. Open Championship at Torrey Pines, the year Dewar's became the official blended Scotch whisky of the event.
The blend is a minimum of 19 years old and finished entirely in ex-American bourbon casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is vanilla and honey with toasted coconut and baking spice. On the palate, toffee, ripe cherries, cream soda and butterscotch sit alongside the vanilla and honey, and the finish is smooth and long, with honeyed oak fading gently.
