Dewar's Double Double 32 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 375ml bottle, bottled at 46%. It is the 32-year-old of the Double Double range created by master blender Stephanie Macleod, launched in 2019.
The malt and grain whiskies are aged separately, blended and returned to cask by type, then married and aged a third time before a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added caramel colouring.
The nose has chocolate-covered raisins, peat smoke, liquorice and charred oak, while the palate is syrupy with prune, plum, dark chocolate, ginger and clove, and a hint of smoke.
