Dewar's Mizunara Oak Double Double 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, bottled at 46% ABV. It belongs to the Double Double series, named for a four-step maturation.
Single malt and grain whiskies aged for at least 21 years are blended, returned to oak casks to marry further, and finally finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks.
On the nose there is tropical fruit, green apple, candied ginger and honey, with sandalwood, vanilla and coconut. The palate is creamy, with citrus zest, pear and dried fruit, and the long finish brings lemon peel, white chocolate and soft spice.
