Dewar's Portuguese Port Cask Finish 8 Year Old (75cl)

This is an eight-year-old Dewar's blended Scotch whisky finished in Portuguese port casks, in a 75cl bottle. It has a blush tone in the glass. The nose combines red currant, cranberry and light toffee, with delicate spices folded into the soft fruit. On the palate there are dried apricots, honey and vanilla sugar, a sweet and creamy texture, and hints of butterscotch and cherry syrup. The finish is lingering, with fine-ground pepper.
