Dewar's Special Reserve 15 Year Old is an age-stated blended Scotch whisky from one of Scotland's long-established blending houses. It is built around Aberfeldy single malt, with 15 years of maturation behind it.
It follows the Dewar's double-aging method: once the blend has been assembled, it goes back into oak casks for further integration. The longer primary maturation across all the components is meant to bring more fruit, oak and complexity to the blend.
