Dewar's The Signature is a 25 year old blended Scotch whisky created by the Dewar family, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is double aged: after the first maturation and blending, the whisky spends a further six months marrying in oak casks.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and candied orange, with barley, floral notes, dried apricot, mango, hazelnut and gentle spices. The palate is creamy chocolate with leather, peppercorn, clove and liquorice, then caramel, nuts and coffee. The finish is long and deep, with chocolate, coffee and exotic spices.
