Dewar's The Signature 25 Year Old Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Dewar's 25 Year Old, also called The Signature, is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40%. It combines malt and grain whiskies that have each spent at least 25 years in oak. It was launched in 2017 and replaced the earlier Signature without an age statement. After blending, the whisky is returned to oak casks to marry, then finished in freshly emptied Royal Brackla single malt casks under Master Blender Stephanie Macleod. When it launched it was the oldest whisky in the permanent Dewar's range. The nose offers heather honey, cream and nuts with rich fruit and floral notes. The palate shows refined oak, delicate honey and a hint of smoke, developing towards berries, peach and almond. The finish is velvety, sweet and long.
