Dewar's The Vintage 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky with an 18-year age statement, built around Aberfeldy single malt. It is made using Dewar's double-aging process, in which the assembled blend goes back into oak casks for further maturation after the initial blending. The aim is a more integrated, cohesive character than blending in a single stage gives. The whisky is typically described as well-rounded and fruit-forward.
