Dewar's White Label is a blended Scotch whisky from John Dewar & Sons, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It combines around 40 malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, with Aberfeldy single malt at the heart of the blend.
After blending, the whisky returns to oak casks for a further period of maturation, a step Dewar's calls double ageing.
The nose is soft honey and vanilla with gentle citrus, light malt and a hint of heather. The palate offers sweet malt, light vanilla, soft pear and a touch of caramel, with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is short to medium, with honey, gentle oak and a little soft smoke.
