Dewar's White Label (175cl, 40%)

Dewar's White Label is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, in a 1.75-litre bottle. Its malt backbone comes from Aberfeldy Distillery in the Highlands. The blend is made from up to 40 malt and grain whiskies. After blending, it returns to oak casks for a further six months, a double-ageing method pioneered by former master blender A.J. Cameron. The house traces back to 1846, when John Dewar began blending in Perth. The nose brings lemon zest, ripe pear, heather honey and soft cereal. The palate offers honey, citrus, vanilla fudge and toffee, with toasted oak behind. The finish is medium, herbal and honeyed.
