Dewar's White Label is a blended Scotch whisky in a 200ml bottle at 40% ABV. John Dewar began blending in Perth in 1846.
The blend combines about 40 malt and grain whiskies, with Aberfeldy single malt as its core. After the components are married, it returns to oak casks for a second maturation, known as double ageing.
The nose is heather honey, citrus, ripe peach and pear. The palate brings vanilla fudge, toffee, toasted oak and a thread of gentle smoke. The finish is moderate, with cut herbs and honeyed sweetness.
